[Misquotation is a misquotation, but Alfred certainly finds the phrase applicable considering current circumstances.
All he had wanted to do was answer the door when his food delivery had finally arrived. Too busy to eat out or make his own meal, the blond had to resort to fast food services to make sure he didn't leave his stomach empty for dinner. That itself he didn't mind-- after all, how could he complain when he rather liked his burgers and fries to begin with? What he did mind was when he opened the door to his apartment, he found himself staring not at the supposed deliveryman, but a hallway he was very sure wasn't supposed to be part of the complex at all.
Alright, perhaps it had been rather rash of him to step out into said hallway. In his defense, he was curious and didn't actually mean to close the door at all. Opening it led him to discover his apartment was no longer at the other end.]
... I got to be dreaming. That's probably it-- I got to be dreaming.
[Or so he wished. Unfortunately, it wasn't as if the situation itself didn't rub off on him as familiar, either. The building itself may be different from what he remembers and is used to, and certainly much emptier, but all the same, the situation was no different from the last occurence. The words not again certainly seem fitting at this point.]
